I have a Speedmaster Mark III and a Seamaster Jedi of that era. I love their style and they look great near a Dino steering wheel :D

Here are some more pics as requested. Any feedback or tips welcome. The hubs caps are with it and I know I need to re-chrome the headlight surrounds and sort b wing badges. It has 47000km since new and engine rebuilt 3000km ago. In its original colour.

That looks really nice Rob. Could we have a close up of the air filters please - i feel a mission coming on and if the ones colombo produce now are similar to the period ones a trip to Italy may be on the cards. How tall are yours by the way?

Regards

David

Nice car Rob,
Is that a Portugese licens plate?

FYI, I contacted Colombo to get an offer and detailed info on supplying these filter boxes for my 2400!
Keep you posted.

Jos

Yes it was on Portuguese plates when these photos were taken and missing hub caps which are now on it.

On the filters I'm not looking to replace these. I was trying to judge how important is is to have the original set up for originality reasons and whether these ones are worth keeping for performance reasons. My latest thinking is to keep these on and at some point buy a second hand standard set up to restore and keep in the garage in case I sell the car one day (which is hard to imagine).
