my radiator fan / circuit has stopped working but I can't see why! If I short the terminals on the rad switch the relay can be heard operating, so I disconnected the fan and checked the output from the relay which was 12v with the rad switch terminals connected. Thanks for that Thomas. It works with the wiring either way, which is good as it proves my switch is OK. My electric horns weren't working and the easy thing to check first was the selector switch. Turned out to be the relay for the twin electric horns - all fixed now, case closed!

Not really. There is not a lot of logic to what is happening, hence the need to compare with a car with both horns working.
