In the context of 'Flairs and Chairs' GTSs selling for over $450k, Dino GTs regularly going for $300k - not to mention stratospheric Stratos prices - whilst the market holds, surely it's just a matter of time before those prices start to 'trickle down'. After all, there can't be more than 150(?) really good 2400 Spiders left and they are every bit as 'Dino' as their more famous (and numerous) sisters...

Are these really (confirmed) selling prices or only asking prices like this here? I know about some Fiats that have been sold for pretty high prices, but this happens rarely. Most of the cars are sold much cheaper.
I agree with you that one of 500 built 2400 Spiders should not be rated much lower than one of much more 246s, but the prancing horse makes still a big difference for the general public.
I also don't understand why a Spider is so much more expensive than a Coupe - it doen't even have a real roof. OK, the number built is less, but meanwhile the majority of the Coupes have been wrecked to source parts for a Spider or a 246.
It seems that there is much more that forms a price than just a few facts...

Funny prices, with the totally wrong dashboard and middle console. Interesting too are the Bertone seats from a late Alfa Romeo 2000 GT, in a Pininfarina car ...

Hi
The Francia blue Dino 2000 is a car i know over 25 years belonging in former times to a member of the german Dino-Register . The car was sold about 19 years ago to an italian enthusiast, who sold it some years later in Turin.
The colour in former times was green-metallic.
The dashboard was transformed in this period, because the original was severly damaged. The original middleconsole was disappeared. The seats came from Alfa Romeo.
In Turin they gave a new spray to the Dino, obviously in the original blue Francia . The car was offered for 50K Euros for 3 or 4 years.
Now shipping to the Uk the Dino got a little bit expensive obviously due to the tremendous costs of transportation.
