Hello,

I am trying to split up a bit my questions so that people can find it easier afterwards and we can make full use of the new forum!

Does anybody have a better photo or even dimensions of the plate which is next to the accelerator pedal[/b] against the upholstery? (to prevent the upholstery from wearing every time I push the pedal to the metal)

I want to fabricate one myself, so I need the sizes, material and how is it attached? (location of the holes)

See these photo to make it more clear: (however they are different in the photos already.... so I think the 1st and last are original)

It always looks black, maybe it is a metal sheet painted or covered in sky/skai?/fabric (plastic leathor)

Thanks!

Regards!
Tom

Here you go Tom. It is a rubber mat . The backside is old fashioned hardboard.
There is also a metal plate behind it which is attached to the tunnel in the middle. See first picture.

Hi Leo,

I located an original plate! :)
The next problem is how should it be mounted? It looks likes with some kind of clips? As my car has a re-done upholstery I can't see the original holes anymore....

Thanks for thinking along again!

Best regards,
Tom
