The battery should be the same for the 2000 and 2400 Coupe from what i remember. Typical capacities are 55-75Ah but you could also fit a (heavier) 90Ah battery. A 75Ah battery is fine though.

Hello,
Most batteries list cold cranking amps and not just amps.
The hard part is I can't find a battery by looking up the fiat Dino model.
What other car has a similar battery so i can look it up?
or what model battery are you guys using?
I'd like to purchase a Kirkland battery.

thanks
Greg

My car has a group 34 battery. I don't have a battery box cover in it, so I can't tell you if it fits under that, but I think so.

(690 CCA at 0 degrees F, 820 at 32 degrees F)

I rarely look at the cold cranking amps as the Dino goes into hibernation as soon as it gets cold here :)
Have used Bosch S4 as well as Varta Silver and Banner batteries, but these are all european brands. The Varta product selector on their website even recognizes the Fiat Dino coupe.

wow the varta website does list all the dinos
BLUE dynamic 570 413 063 that's the correct battery too bad i can't get it here.

I've been trying to find a battery cross reference chart online but they don't seem to exist.

it looks like i'll probably just go to Costco with a measuring tape and see if they have
group 34 batteries.

I'm pretty sure I have a Group 27 battery in my 2.4 Dino Coupe - I'll check when I get home this evening. It's in the trunk - is it in the 2.0's trunk also?

I try to only ever buy Interstate batteries in the USA - every time I buy a different one I get about 3 years life - but have never had less than 7-8 years out of an Interstate.

And I have a battery-disconnect and a "Save-a-Battery" intelligent trickle charger

yes, confirmed - Interstate Group 27. MTP-27 to be precise.

85Ah and 810 cold cranking amps, (a term I've never fully understood but almost certainly the bigger the number, the better it is)
