interior leak under dash...?

Hello! Got into my couple this morning -- hoping to drive it to work (on another beautiful fall day -- before it gets too cold!) ... when I heard the distinct sound of liquid dripping -- under the dash -- on the passenger side.
At work now -- and trying not to freak out thinking about it.

Pretty sure I had the heat on... not sure if that had anything to do with it? Smelled and looked like musty water. Without having gone in to look just yet -- guessing that either 1. something came loose or 2. a dastradly mouse may have chewed through something...? Anyone dealt with anything similar? Sound familiar? (Or, more to the point -- sound expensive?) Thanks in advance for any helpful comments/advice!

If you've recently washed the car - or been in the rain.... check the drain connection that starts in the trough holding the windshield wiper motor, and runs to the transmission tunnel. On my '67 coupe, it's a large rubber hose - came undone at the top and resulted in water into the interior.

On my coupe, I once had the windshield out and put it back in with a new windscreen rubber, and since the new windscreen rubbers you can get on the market these days never really fit, my windshield was leaking when I first drove in the rain. Was an easy one to cure, though. If the heater is leaking, that's most likely a different story..

I had this along with windows misting up. It was heater control valve leaking. That is not too bad but the matrix was leaking too. That is bad. Paid to have it done. Poor now. Good luck with it

I presume this the coupe?
Where is the heater core located on the car?
