Hey guys,

What is should the water temp be on the DINO spider 2.0 or 2.4
Everything appears to be running smoothly.

It's summer time and I am getting some pretty high readings at the top of my radiator.

After running my car a 3 kilometers test run. I took a reading with a laser temp gun and I am getting from 204-212 at the top of the radiator near the expansion tank.
At the bottom of the radiator, I am getting 197-203

My electric fan kicks in at around 195, My car has never exceeded 213
On a nice hot day, my dash gauges read on average 90-100

I have not had any radiator hose blowout nor heater valve blowout~ So, I can say that all look's ok?
Again, maybe my laser is not 100% accurate but close enough.

I also have and after market oil radiator, that appears to help.

As already mentioned:
Seems to work perfect. A fan start at 90°C (195°F) is OK. As long as it doesn't boil, everything is fine.

Are you driving a 2.0 or a 2.4 what color?

It's good to know! It's my first DINO ever. So I am a bit trepidatious on taking the car out on the open road.
My old Porsche " air cooled " has never been any concerned. Except went I blew a fan belt.
My old 3500 Maserati in line 6 had allot of the same Italian concerns. However, there was allot more room in the engine bay compartment to circulate the air.
The DINO is so jam packed with stuff, I am surprised that these cars actually don't completely overheat.
There is really nowhere for the hot air to escape. There also no room for an extra or strong cooling fan.

I have a red 2400. I've never heard about serious temperature issues. If youre fan cuts in at the right temperature and the water is not boling, I wouldn't care.

I think I am just a bit nervous on these hot summer day and night.
But so far the engine is holding up fine, the electric fan kicks on at around 85-90
My water has not surpassed the 95-100
No boiling water? Besides I am only driving on 1st and 2nd gear up and down my street. When I get driving on the open road I will fell probably allot more at ease.
