Hi everyone,

I am wondering if anyone else sees this: When I turn on the headlights, the Temp gage goes from 90°C to 95°C. In fact, I can adjust the T° by turning the rheostat for the interior dashboard lights! When it's off, I go back to 90°C, at full brightness, I get 95°C.

I suspect the usual faulty ground connection somewhere, and was wondering if someone had seen this before and knows where to look for the ground connection to the chassis. I really don't want to take out the dash, so I'm hoping I can reach up and wiggle a wire somewhere

Not sure about the Spyder, but If you have a coupe - you can easily remove the front part of the dash. Four allen screws and that section lifts out ( there doesn't seem to be anything tying in the air vents). With that part out, you have full and easy access to all the gauge wiring.

Wow, that's great. I have the 2.4 Coupe, which has a squarish dash with the instruments. Do you mean that this comes off easily? I never knew...

The 2.0 coupe has a 6 inch forward section the length of the dash - this is the part I was referring... looks like the 2.4 doesn't have this 'feature'

But now that I look at the 2.4 body parts manual - it does appear that the top of the dash would come off without too much trouble - perhaps the other 2.4 guys would know.
