Fuel Pump replacement

Hi All,
First post here, of what will be many more... I am the new owner of a '67 Dino, that has been stored away for roughly 15 years (I'll post photos/info on the car over in the garage section to say hi). My current challenge as I get it road usable again - replacing a non-functional fuel pump. I wanted to confirm what I think is correct - the cylindrical pumps used on the 2.0 Dinos are of the 12V and 6-8 psi variety, correct? I see Superformance has a Facet 7psi listed, but hoping to find something from a supplier in US rather than waiting on another package from the UK... thanks

I've just replaced mine for a Hardi 18812 fuel pump. Reasonable priced and quite likely readily available through many suppliers in the US.
Pressure is 0.38 bar (5.5 PSI) and 130L/min. Other documentation says 0.35 bar and 110L/min but anyhow a good fuel pump with good flow and pressure.
You can run it without the fuel pressure regulator.

Any comments about the Facet pump? There are a few types. Which one should I use? 110-130l/min, 5-8 psi for a 2400 is correct?
What do you think of this one?

Facet Red Top should be the right one.

Keep in mind that with the Red Top you need a pressure regulator. The Facet is also quite loud, you have been warned

The 2400 has a return line. Do I still need a PR?
Thanks..

When the fuel pump creates too much pressure the needle valves in the carbs can not close anymore with the risk that that the carbs overflow. Better to have a PR in this case. The return line is good when too much petrol is delivered so it can return without getting hot and cause problems to restart.
