Which oil filter

Hi, I need to do an oil change. I am using Commer Classic 20:50 on the advice of my Dino specialist (24 Hundred). I forgot to ask them what ilter to use but I thought I would also put this out to the forum. Superformance list a regular UFI filter (£10) and a "Top quality racing filter" (£20) (http://www.superformance.co.uk/fiat/eg.html). Dino Parts list a "BALDWIN Filter" (Euro 20) (http://www.dinoparts.eu/EN/fiat-coupe-s ... -2504.html) and list the following benefits: "1. It is the consequent further development of the UFI-Classic with riser. 2. It has as sealing ring a caste tread. 3. It has an integrated by-pass valve."

Does anyone have a view on which option is best?

Both UFI and Baldwin B253 have a standpipe, and both are fine for the Dino, not much difference between them. There is also a specific Mann filter with a standpipe which is fine, but i don't remember the product code. Fram had durability problems in the past, not sure if that is still an issue. I have an UFI (UFI 2316202?) in the 246 and GT4, and Baldwin B253 in the GTS.

If you are in the US you could use the dealer locator on the Baldwin homepage to find a supplier next to you: http://www.baldwinfilter.com
UFI and Baldwin filters are also offered on ebay, the Baldwin sells for around $10-$12.
