Re: What a nice car
The paint and color is fantastic but for the price asked i would expect a bit more originality. The Campagnolo wheels are from the 246 as far as i know, and the Dinoplex setup is missing. Not sure about the interior.
Re: What a nice car
What more "originality" would you expect exactly? It's my car and is a strong 2+ car. It's run the 1000 mile Copperstate Rally without a hiccup, at speed. It has records, tools, and the Campys were a common switch back in the day. They are more costly and to my eye prettier than the usual Cromo's. What of the 44year old interior bothers you? As for the Dinoplex, it is there, fully functional, and far inferior to the MSD for real world driving. I'm sure yours is far nicer, right??

2.4 Dino just sold
Just a quick memo, there is very nice 2.4 Dino Spider that just sold in France , Le Mans today July 5th. The realized price was 117,000 Euro not including a 25% hammer.
So, that would translate to $163,000 USD + approx $40,000 hammer.
This brings the car at $203,000.00

Re: What a nice car
Crazy prices. This 2.4 Spider has just been sold for a real price in Germany:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/291159465069
However, it is not a mint car, but a pretty good one. It has been sold from a long-time Dino enthusiast to another, not to a collector. It will stay on the road.

Re: What a nice car
Hi labcars1. Beautiful car. Did the sale go through? If so we would all love to know the sale price. I have started a new post viewtopic.php?f=4&t=201 on the subject of Dinoplexes. Your views particularly welcome.labcars1 wrote:As for the Dinoplex, it is there, fully functional, and far inferior to the MSD for real world driving.
2400 Spider #1364
Re: What a nice car
The German Dino is with me now in the Munich area; it was more or less sitting from 1988 up to today. So... many things to do to get it running; it will come out of the garage in 1 month after 9 months of work. But... as mentioned... a pretty good car.
