Car was junked. I literally couldn't give this p.o.s. away. Thanks Fiat Dino forum. Of all the car forums I'm a member of (Ferrari, Lotus, Shelby, MG, Saleen, Audi, VW, Dodge, Crosley, Aaca, etc.), the Fiat Dino and it's people are by far the worst. Zero support, zero enthusiasm, zero carmaderie, zero interaction. This forum is like a cemetery. What few Dino owners I've interacted with, they were only blowing their own horns about how great they and their cars are, instead of sharing the common bond of car ownership. Good riddance Fiat Dino. Never again. Moderator, please delete my account as soon as possible. Thanks.

Sorry to hear your experience, here in the UK, there is a small but friendly community of Dino owners/enthusiasts, all of whom owe are connected through Brian Boxall, who has championed the Fiat Dino, for at least the last 30 years.

I'm sorry that someone who obviously enjoys cars and collecting has to go sideways about a group of owners and interested parties that consider their cars worth trying to keep a forum going. When you consider we're dealing with possibly 5000 Units of a car that hardly anybody knows about, its not surprising that there isn't massive interest in the group.
When you consider that this is a free Forum, I'm not surprised that there are so many non member lurkers.
Groups of our size, struggle with keeping impetus in their groups. I am a member of BSA Gold Star owners from England. Its a paid membership of about 800 members. They struggle to get Worldwide members, even though there are probably as many f these bikes in the US and Canada as in the UK.
I was a member of the Jeep 3Jb forum, without the work of fanatics running the Forum, I would have spent years gaining the knowledge needed to restore my Wifes Jeep. No membership fee and a very small membership. But they manage as, our Forum does, to survive with very few signed up members.
The main thing I got out of these memberships, is access to people way smarter than I, and in the case of the Goldie Group, a monthly newsletter mailed to me. The Goldie Group do not have any internet presence.
So I for one am more than happy with our Forum. Without this Forum, I would never have personally met Dinoverde, who has been a font of information to me. People like Stephan and Tobi who steer us around the Forum. I get way more out of it than I pay in!!

Not every one wants what I have to sell sometimes, but if I can help even one member, with a genuine Fiat part they're missing, Im happy.

All well answered to this guy.

You are right... this forum is for free and yes... and yes... it is not very much alive as well as the German forum.

But we all have to face the fact that first... the amount of cars being manufactured is low, the ones which I would call caretakers are slowly disappearing and these cars never had the same reputation as many others from Ferrari, Porsche or Lamborghini although they deserve much greater attention.

Whatever we need to understand about the cars can be found here and people like Tobi and a few others are doing an enormous job to keep this community together.

If someone now thinks that this is a great place to sell fast a rotten Dino... and then starting to complain...

Best Regards
