ceramic coating on exhaust

Post by ttc46 »

Hello,
To reduce the temperature under the motor hood and to avoid vapor-lock problem, I think that one solution is to make a ceramic coating on the exhaust,
like Zircotec in UK do.

Someone among you has already adopted this solution ?
If so, is it effective?
Have you another solution?

Thanks

Hello,

After research, I found a supplier in France, who made me the 6 exhaust and the 3in1.
The result is very significant; I made a journey in Italy in June and I could see that the temperature under the motor hood was very lower than before,
especially after 2-3 hours journey and our feet were colder. :D

And this for a reasonable price (about 500€).

I ceramic coated my exhaust and still experienced pretty annoying vapor lock on hot days. I think heat comes from engine soaking carbs. I set up a fuel return to move fuel as the later cars.
