Fiat Dino Forum (FDF)

Hi guys,

I would like to find locally the driveshaft u-joint that connects the main driveshaft to the short torque tube driveshaft. Mine is a 2400 coupe, in case it matters.

Does anyone know the size or specifications so I can try to find it locally? I would like to not remove it to measure it unless I know I will find one locally.

For my Fiat 130 it is 27x74,6mm
I assume for the Dino 2400 it will be the same part

Google the part number, they are universally used and readily available at any car parts store.

Not at a USA car parts store.

Hi Luis, Dino 2400 and Fiat 130 have the same drive shaft set up; they only differ in length. GKN is a supplier of this U joint. But it's a stadard item, it does not cost more than EUR 25 over here, if you purchase it at drive shaft refurbishers.

Thank you Georg. I’ll search for it using the measurements Stefan provided. Then I can cross reference it to a Moog or some other supplier reference number. That’s what we need over here to buy one. The Fiat 130 and Dino were not imported to the USA so the usual way of searching by vehicle manufacturer and model will not work to locate it here.
