It looks like it may not have reached the reserve. It’s listed today €116k Offers.

Last offers were around 87.000, which seems high considering the cost to fix body, powertrain and chassis. Seems that all bidders were aware of the hidden and evident issues.
Auction was prolongated several times, nevertheless reserve was not met.
Bidders knew what they were doing.

It reminds me a little of the red Spider that Mark Devante brought in and started his videos of the rebuild.
Drove nicely and looked great. Until of course he dived into it and there was so much hidden.
I’m sure the owner is one of our forum members. Thanks to him and Mark, we’ll see a beautiful Dino come out of it.

Yes, this is my Spider, a 2.4 with the VIN 1312. I knew it needed a lot of work but drove her frequently to Italy for a while and invested also already some money in technical stuff... but in the end... the car needed to have the full job. I know Mark since a long time and up to that point he was documenting things only by photos... having videos and a YouTube channel puts things now on a new level.
Nevertheless, I expected that things would move faster... the car is now since 3.5 years with him... and is not moving forward significantly since 2 years.
I hope that I will survive the restoration

Argonaut,
I’m sorry I opened the wound for you! Yes 2 years is even longer than my own restoration.
I can’t imagine how Mark gets these cars completed. The Maseratis have sucked a lot of time, and I think he can’t say no to them.
I’m sure you have had more than one discussion with him🥴
