Fellas -
I'm active duty Army. Currently stationed in Korea (Seoul). Moving to Naples/Napoli on 1 July. Have owned vintage cars for decades; currently have a few American musclecars. Really interested in buying a 2400 Dino Coupe when I arrive in Naples. Budget is $30,000 U.S. With the exchange rate today, I think I can afford a decent car.
Anyone have any leads on cars? I've been browsing mobile.de, subito.it, and autobelle.it. Several cars out there in my price range, but will have to look in person, of course.
I can handle pretty significant mechanical work (can rebuild engines, transmissions, etc) but definitely want a car that's very solid with minimal accident damage or rust issues.
Definitely worried about parts availability -- I'm thinking if I ended up in a wreck, I would almost have to find a parts car if I had to source a fender, hood, quarter panel, etc.
Would be interested to hear your thoughts.
Thanks!
Scott

Hi Scott and welcome to the forum , although you may get some interesting leads here nothing beats finding something from the source being the Mother land of Dino's , I'm sure that once stationed in Naples and any given spare time the leads will come from left to right…A close friend recently had a wonderful barn find a bit like finding a nugget in our gold fields easy to do when you know where to look and could save you quite a few $$$ without the middle man.
Anyway I wish you well in your quest and P.S there are still quite a few beautiful old Maserati out there.
Cheers
John

Just trying to get a feel for the market now. Realize that my best deal is probably word of mouth.
I'm a fan of the Maserati Merak; top of my price range, but a possibility.
Thanks
