Hello,
For my 2400 coupe I need other shock absorbers for the rear end. Superformance has them for sale but they are expensive; (at least 300 pound each, so will cost me at least 700 euro which is a lot...)
http://www.superformance.co.uk/fiat/suspension.html
They are of this type:
(don't know what the difference is between them)
Anyway, I was thinking if it isn't possible to make a plate to bolt on the hub where we can mount on standard shocks. (which are priced a bit more attractive)
Or are this kind of shock absorbers also used for locating the hub?
Other solutions are also welcome!
Thanks for thinking along!
Kind regards
Tom

Re: Rear shock absorbers Dino 2400
Hi,
yes, these shock absorbers are quite expensive.
I just changed mine last winter and bought the Koni insides from dinoparts - was nearly the same price as you mentioned.
They fit but I had to make an adapter ring to make them really fit.
But they work fine - although my old ones were also still OK and had no problems, but as I had my complete rear axle out, I wanted to have them also new as the wheel bearings, universal joints, brake calipers etc.
So I could offer you my old ones, if you are interested.
I also found one in switzerland who is able to restore the old ones, but he said it will also cost around 250 Euro each.
I woukld not reccomend to alter the rear axle as long as there are possibilities to get new parts or restore the original ones.
Despite the fact that you have to find the correct absorbers whith the right lenght and strength.
If you are interested in good functioning used ones send me a PM.
