Nice base - but the price typo should be corrected. One zero too much :D

Maybe he is not... but he is right; maybe not a "zero" less but for sure far too high.

Not at all - just a simple calculation:

Price of a proper coupe: 60.000 USD (

What is necessary to bring this pile of parts to a good vehicle:

(Most of the parts are in poor, unrestaured condition, the body Is not "ready for paint" if you look at the pics in detail.)

Engine job: 25.000 USD

Paint Job: 15.000 USD

Restauration of Chassis, Drivetrain and other technical parts: 10.000 USD

Assuming that all parts are really part of the package and the buyer can execute the assembly as DIY, a market value of 10.000 is realistic. If a lot of electrical work has to be done and key parts are missing, you end up with 5.000 USD.

It depends from which side you start to calculate ;)

Ribolla_67's calculation is pretty clear and right. But start on the other end, take all the parts and the welding work already done and you might end up with the requested sum. The problem is the mismatch between the value of the car at the end and the effort for the welding work that has been done. It has cost much more than the value it added to the body.

Smart decision/denial ;)

Everybody is free to post his ads wherever he wants. You may also buy a full page of The Times, rent an advertisment column or wite it on a railway station toilet door. If it's Dino-related, you may also do it here.

Philbrun is free to invite fellow Dino owners to his Facebook group. But there is no need to do this dodecatuplate.
