Fuel filter bowl

Post by 1967spider »

My 67 dino spider fuel filter bowl is venting out fuel more than normal and was dripping down to the header. Can it be adjusted with the large flat screw next to the vent hole? Thank you.

The Lage screw regulates the fuel pressure! Look at the bottom there should be a screw at the bottom to fix it tighter. You schould also look if the seal is Ok ( you see it when you open the bowl (what you should do from time to time to clean it and replace the filter).

I want to know if the fuel bowl in the picture from Classic Alfa is compatible with the 67 spider. I want to replace my old bowl for the hazardous reason. Thanks in advance.

Yes, that will work fine. The Fispa unit that is on your car were also used on Alfa 105.

Got the new fuel bowl from Alfa. I was told to adjust the output fuel pressure to 6 psi. Anyone has any suggestion of how to adjust the adjustment screw ontop of the bowl to get it to the right output? Thanks.
