2 Liter Valve Shims

Are the shims for 2-liter engines similar to Alfa shims?
I have a set from work I did on a 105 series Alfa 1600, and the 1967 Dino Coupe I'm working on is a little noisy in the valve train.
Looks like the valve stems are around 8mm. I'm thinking Alfa shims from the earlier (750 series) engines should work.
