I've been using Flick'r for a couple of years now and it has been fine. But so was Photobucket before the ransom demands..

You can upload photos to the forum directly instead of referencing third-party sites.

Same problem for me...
Does a free website, like photobucket, exist?

Flick'r is free, but as Tobi rightly points out, so are the forum servers.

Tobi (or anybody),
Is there a way to disable 3rd party hosting? So that people can only upload pictures directly to the site. Looking through the site now, it's a mess due to the proliferation of messages from the useless PhotoBucket ransom demand.
If you'd like to fix this problem then there's an update for Firefox and Chrome that makes the stupid Photpbuckt message go away - worked for me:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... n?hl=en-US

If you'd like to read why this happened try:

I don't think that I can disable 3rd party hosting. It's just a link inserted. I cannot block the use of links.

agreed - that wouldn't be good.
Well, as a stopgap - the plugin for Chrome I linked above does actually work
and everyone please don't use PhotoBucket if you can help it.
