Centro Storico Fiat

Post by vlad »

Hi,

contacted the above to see what info. they could provide on the certificate they now can provide on request (given a chassis number).

They were very helpful.

But it seems Fiat retained very little data on our cars.

They could only provide year and month of manufacture, not day, no info. colour, interior or even engine numbers.

Shame - don't know if anyone else has had a different response , or perhaps did Mike Morris manage to extract anything from the Fiat archives before they seem to have destroyed the information.

Anyway I probably won't be parting with 70Euro for a piece of A4 paper (even if its very good quality!) giving me the year and month of manufacture - which I already know!

The company which has assembled your car usually charges 50 times that price - but you get a nice folder
