Are there any differences between the steering box in a 2000 coupe and spider?
Is the same steering box used on the 2000 and 2400?
Thanks,
Ben.

Re: 2400 Coupe engine rebuild
Richard, I had a similar problem with a door mounting bolt on a 1979 Alfa Romeo spider. The nuts are captured in a nice little square sheet metal box [tack welded to chassis], that can come un-welded. I had to cut a piece of fender out to access the area, welded the heck out of the retaining box and...

Thanks Richard.
All very helpful and useful information.

What is your plan to deal with the broken/cut bolt?

Ben

Re: 2400 Coupe engine rebuild
Richard, Thanks for the excellent write up on the cylinder head removal tool. I hope I never need one, but if I do, I know where to get the specs! I need to replace my clutch, so the transmission needs to come out. I have seen other forum posts about it being possible to remove the transmission with...

Re: WANTED: 68 Fiat Dino Coupe Dash Vents (4)
David,
Do you just need the plastic parts, or the plastic vents and the metal frame that secures the assembly to the dash board?
Ben

Re: Cooling fan relay problem FIAT 2000 Dino
Thanks Georg for the detailed instructions for testing the fan relay.
All the fuses in the fuse box are good.
I will do the other tests and let you know what I find.
Cheers,
Ben.

Cooling fan relay problem FIAT 2000 Dino
I had an overheating problem with my FIAT 2000 Dino. The cooling fan was not coming on. The thermostat switch in the radiator is new and working. The cooling fan works if it is hard wired. The relay must be malfunctioning. Is there a replacement relay available on the market? Thanks, Ben. 1967 FIAT ...

Re: Front suspension FIAT Dino Coupe 2000
There is a bit of a shimmy in the steering wheel. Feels like a bad tie rod end to me. Vibration seems to be present at all speeds I'm trying to find someone who will look at the front suspension without "having the car in the computer" as in the USA, you will never have a FIAT DINO in any ...

Front suspension FIAT Dino Coupe 2000
I have owned my car for 2 years now and finally today I took it for a shake-down run on the highway. The engine pulled hard and strong right up to 8000 RPM. I have been waiting years to hear the engine sing! The car came with receipts claiming the whole front end had been rebuilt the year before I p...
