Re: Clutch pressure plate

Have any of you asked SF or Dinoparts about this? How can they sell something that doesn’t fit? What is their suggestion?

Separately, how can this cause the clutch cable to break?

Re: My Dino has strong bad exhaust smell

I don’t have that problem. Drove my 2400 Coupe about 550Km this weekend with no “bad smells”.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by “bad”?

Re: Ignition switch Issues

Those wires are typically for a key-in-lock sensing buzzer/alarm.

As far as I know, our cars (edit: DID NOT) have that capability but your switch may be a replacement that was used in more modern cars with such a warning.

Re: Replacing seat cushions

I've looked at this as well and like Peter I realized they are the same seats as the Espada (I used to own one) and the Montreal. This thread on the Alfabb board gets into the subject and shows some photos of the foam. https://www.alfabb.com/threads/seat-foam-montreal.645418/page-3 I also contacted ...

Re: Dino 2400 Coupe -71

I have found that if you very slowly turn the key toward the start position the fuel pump and the vacuum pump will come on before the car starts, it's very, very close to the start position but just before it. Serves to fill up the carb bowls without having to crank the engine for long. My feeling i...

Hi Georg. Good looking alternator.

Did you refurbish it yourself?

What all was replaced?

Re: Water pump pulley alignment 1967 206 coupe

I don't mean to underestimate you but the website shows a "Type C" for the later cars (2400) at ~440 Euros, what you said you paid, and an early one, "Type B", for the 2000, at 233 Euro. You sure you ordered the correct one for your 2000?

Re: Vacuum pump circuit breaker

very ingenious indeed ..i have been looking for one of those bimetal sensors for a while..found a couple but was never able to test them of the car..how can one test these bimetal sensors? a12 volt battery will probably fry them? Easiest way to test them would be 'in situ' in the car, otherwise on ...
