Re: 2.4 spyder sales brochure
Hi, Anorak alert! Just browsing through and noticed this brochure, would love to have one of these, looking a bit closer it looks like a 2.0 litre car dressed as a 2.4 look at the exhausts they're further apart on the 2.4 and the distance the gear lever is from the clock should be nearer, and the bad...

Re: Coil springs
Hi Leo, I rebuilt a 2.4 coupe 4178 in the late eighties/early nineties, mid nineties, late nineties...... and remember the same thing, curving front springs rubbing the inside of the front tyres, I spoke to Mike at Superformance and was told that they came with quarter inch wheel spacers which tende...

Re: Fuel consumption?
Hi Dario,
I remember Mike Elliot being quite adament about fitting a new fuel pressure regulator as the fuel pumps are very powerful and can blow through the carbs leading to bore wash.
Cheers

Re: Fuel consumption?
Hi Dario, just a thought, I once had a 2400 coupe which had a running fault, after much fafing around it turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator, I then by passed it which cured the running problem but it did use a lot more fuel until I fitted a new one, maybe it's not working at all on yours?

Re: PIX of everyone's dinos please!
Bought from Brian Boxall in 2007, first owner was Berhard Cahier who got it from Sergio Pininfarina. Having bought a "good" 2.4 coupe (4178) at the height of the market in 1988 from Naples, to find it needed, engine, gearbox, diff and so much else and more time than I care to remember that...

Re: Interni in pelle FIAT Dino Coupé
Hi Patrizio
I can't remmember the chassis number, although I could probably find out if you wanted, but I did work out that it was built in either October or November 1968 so a late series 2. I have seen this interior in a grey 2.4 coupe.
Cheers
