Re: Column indicator and wiper switches
Many Fiat 124 / 125 / 132 used the same type of steering column switch, with three levers. They also have the same cables and colour codes as the Dinos. They were made by CAVIS and were numbered 789. You can still find new ones at Ebay. BUT - the "mounting tube" has an all too narrow inner...

Re: Front coil spring making contact with tire
During the eighties´I owned a low-milaged, very original Dino 2,4 Coupé, and I never experienced the front coil springs hitting the front tyres, when the car was lifted up on jack stands. It ran on original 205/70/VR14 tyres. In my humble opinion, FIAT would never sell a car with such a flaw, and at...

Re: Front coil spring making contact with tire
If you have a 2 Litre Fiat Dino and use the original 185xVR14 tyre, you should not have any contact between tyre and coil spring, when car is lifted up. If so, something else is wrong. When Fiat introduced the 2,4 Dinos with 205/70VR14 tyres, a distance plate was added at the front axle, to avoid th...

Re: Wiring electric window motor
In the 2 Litre Dino Electrical wiring Diagram, you can see the electrical window motors having separate windings for the different operating directions. See the enclosed wiring diagram close-up pics, taken from the second series 2 Litre Spider (for which electrical windows became a very rare, but av...

Re: Vitaloni side mirror
As far as I have found out, all Fiat Dino Spiders had Sebring MK 1 rear mirrors from factory, at the left door. And yes, it has two mounting bolts. These mirrors can be seen in all the sales brochures, promotion pics, pics of the factory production line, and so on. All Dino Coupes, on the other hand...

Re: 2 liters tool kits and jack
According to the 2 Litre Spare Parts Catalogue, the last 2 litre Spider to have wheel spinners from factory, is said to be 135AS 000 1107. In my humble opinion, such high serial number must be regarded as a second series 2 Litre Spider. However, the very last known 2 litre Spider 135AS 0001158 (whic...

Re: additional resistance for water thermometer
The resistor for the water thermal switch is FIAT original spare part no 4036697.
If you Google it, you should find some spare parts shops selling it.

Re: Gemmer steering box
Answering Fanalone: Both yes and no! When looking at the Spare parts Catalogue page D2.02, DINOPARTS.de actually has used wrong Fiat numbers in their parts list: The LOWER bearing "outer race" is number 9917590, not 9916359 - which are the two corresponding "ball-cages". It is sa...

Re: Gemmer steering box
Having overhauled a Gemmer/Dino steering box last year, I can confirm it is hard finding parts for it. The worm-shaft bearing "ball-cages" and the oil sealings are availible, but that´s it. Concerning the corresponding "bearing outer rings", I have some indications Gemmer actuall...
