Looking for ignition switch retaining ring
I'm looking for the retaining ring that holds the ignition switch internals into the housing. The snap ring that I found on mine (as shown in the picture) is damaged/modified on one end and does not hold the switch together securely. Anybody have this piece laying around they'd like to get rid of? I...

Re: Which Dinos do we have?
Welcome! Just returned from my first time in OZ after attending the F1 GP in Melbourne. Met up with some Fiat X-1/9 guys while I was there but unfortunately no Dino sightings. Maybe next time…..

Re: Removing Brake Master Cylinder, 2.4 Spider
Yes, I've got the needed flare nut wrenches... so far I've been able to free two of the connections. One I haven't tried yet, one I have been unable to get free.... but I've still got a few tricks up my sleeve. Thanks for the tip on not having to remove the pedal box. The steering column is pretty e...

Removing Brake Master Cylinder, 2.4 Spider
Happy (early) New Year! I'm faced with removing the brake master cylinder on my 2.4 spider so I can replace/rebuild it. I was hoping that I could sneak it out by only removing the steering wheel and steering column and drivers seat. That's now done and it looks do-able, but access is very limited an...

Re: CO values 2.4l (idle)
Sounds good! Here's a tip (ask me how I know...) The closer your sampling ports are to the cylinder head, the higher the exhaust temperature. Make sure the hose you're using to route the exhaust gas to your analyzer can take the heat.... otherwise it will melt and you'll have a mess. On my Fia...

Re: CO values 2.4l (idle)
Excellent thread! Way back in the day here in the USA, shops used to routinely measure % CO when testing/adjusting fuel mixture. Unfortunately that testing equipment has gone the way of the dinosaur, at least in the USA. I used to have a CO meter but nobody seems to sell/service or calibrate them an...

Re: Dino2000 Rubber Trans Mount Fit
All the more reason to support our dedicated suppliers. Years ago I was trying to source rear control arm bushings for my 2.4 spider. Very difficult to find back in the day. While I ultimately found some, when I removed the original ones I sent them off to Superformance who used them as a pattern to...
