Wanted Brake master cylinder
Looking for a brake master cylinder for the 2.0 coupe, it might be the same as a 2.4 I'm not sure. I've seen some on the internet but they all have the "Ferrari tax". It's just a cast iron tandem master cylinder 22.2mm bore.

Master cylinder
Are there any other alternatives to re sleeving the master cylinder. My old one has a bore to piston "ring" clearance of just 1 thou, yet the machinist who will re sleeve can only work to 5 thou tolerance for his finished item !!
It's a shame as my bore is good bar a very few rust pits.

Brake booster seals
I have opened up my brake booster and found a damaged seal, but am having difficulty in getting the repair kit. Dinoparts said they dont do it ,superformance dont list it but do list 2 seals from the dino 246, passparts say they dont do it. I tried https://www.casafreno.com/ as suggested before with...

Heater controls
Does any one know where the left most heater control lever at the dash is attached to on a 2.0 coupe. I removed my brake booster and found a loose cable sticking out just behind the centre consul, so I removed that and could not find any obvious place where it came from. This cable has the solid wir...

Re: Compression Test Results
I may well be wrong but if the compression test is not done with fully open throttle that would give a lower reading as well as if the valve/shim gaps are wrong and also if the cam timing is out.

Re: removing brake master cylinder
I managed to do it without removing the pedal box, steering column or booster, but did take the dash top off to get some more access to the connections.

Re: Hood vent and side vent versions
I have the humps but mine look so well done in black I thought they were factory. I have seen so many photos on the 2l cars with both silver or black its hard to know for sure.

Re: removing brake master cylinder
Thanks Ben. For some strange reason I was thinking of removing the "female blocks" on top of the MC but access does seem easier to the male brake unions instead. However as is often the case with these things, mine are all seized solid so I hope that penetrating fluid will work otherwise I...
