Re: Dino restoration on YouTube
Then I blame the salt... but... where do you have your information from that it was not the bad Russian steel? As I have this info from various angles. Hey. There's lots of factual information out there, but this article is a good one: https://driventowrite.com/2022/05/17/vaz-diplomacy-politics-and...

2400 Coupe Engine Mounts
Hi All, The metal engine mount brackets on my 2400 have cracked, so I'm going to replace them with ones from Superformance. Whilst that is being done, I may as well replace the square rubber engine mounts even though they look ok. I noted both Superformance and H&N sell these, and was wondering ...

Re: Compression Test Results
No I didn’t purchase it, and as far as I’m aware the car is still for sale (albeit with a different dealer). Too many variables and uncertainties, and being I’m many thousands of miles away from it, decided not to risk it.

Re: Dino restoration on YouTube
100% subscribe on your statement. The problem is that most of those cars from Italy back in those days do not have sufficient rust protection plus bad quality steel from Russia. And if then you are having complex metal sheet constructions underneath the outer skin it becomes really expensive to get...

Re: Rear wheel bearing for 2400 Coupe
Hi Luis.
I've put 1,200km on them, and experienced zero issues to date.
I would have gone for FAG, but I couldn't source them (or the SKF) in the timeframe required.
regards,
Kal

Re: Luggage for Coupe
Failing that. Can someone please measure the distance between the wheel arches in the boot (which should be the narrowest section)?

Luggage for Coupe
Hi,
Can someone please let me know what size luggage - and how many pieces of it - will fit in the boot (trunk) of a 2400 Coupe?
Thanks.

Re: Rear wheel bearing for 2400 Coupe
I am now well versed with bearings. The original SKF 615645A is a double-row, angular contact ball bearings with solid inner and outer rings, and has measurements of 45x84x39. There are numerous bearings out there with these dimensions that also have an ABS sensor, but aren't necessarily double-row ...

Re: Dino Coupe 2.4 just sold on Ebay
I don't think I would buy a car from someone with a "0" sale rating on eBay, and has obviously lifted photos and text from the 2018 bringatrailer auction. "This 1970 Fiat Dino coupe is finished in red over a red cloth interior and was acquired by its previous owner approximately nine ...
