Re: Petronix replacement for points
Tobi: I have a buddy who is familiar with electronics (unlike myself) and he replaced the "common" and "uncommon" transistors and it still does not function except in emergency position. Perhaps my friend did not do a great job however. Is there someone in the US or San Francisco...

Re: Petronix replacement for points
My 101 Dinoplex in my 1968 2.0 stopped working and I'm running on points. I'm in the San Francisco Bay area. Does anyone know someone around here who can either repair or do a MSD replacement in my original box?
Thanks

Fuel Sending Unit in 2 Liter
I'm changing out the semi-functioning fuel sending unit on my 1968 Fiat Dino 2 liter. The fuel line connecting the unit to the car fuel line is rock hard. It looks like a green Cavis 7 x 12 line if you look at the enclosed picture. Have any of you used a Cavis or just a plain black fuel line in the ...

Hi
Newbie here also from East Bay of San Francisco. Just purchased a 1968 coupe that I love to drive. Any owners in my area?

Re: Tire size
Thanks for the answer! For people who have had both the 185 and the 205 in the CN36's, what are the handling differences? And have people used the Vredstein Sprint Classic in either of those sizes?

Re: Tire size
Been wondering about what size is "original" for the 1968 2L coupe? Was it the 185 or 205? And is the 205 the better size for the 2 liter coupe?

Re: which Tyres / Tires ?
Just got my "new" 1968 Dino 2000 coupe and want to replace all the tires with 185 70 VR 14. Options are Vredstein Sprint Classic or Pirelli Cinturato CN36. Or other options like Michelin. I'm in the USA. Would like people's opinion who have them on their coupe. And do people notice differe...

Wanted: Fiat Dino Spider
I'm in the USA and looking for a spider. Will consider either 2000 or 2400 that has been "all done" with recent mechanical and if needed, body work already done. I'm looking for a driver and not a trailer queen but nice enough to present at local concours. Huge plus if history known. This ...
