Thanks all of you, for confirming this is probably the worst job on the car
I think I’m going to go Mr Higgins way, a lot of work but probably
Less frustrating

Re: Installing a Dinoplex
Thanks Dinoswede
I’m heading to the shop now so I’ll recheck all the wirings
I don’t have the cloud codes on the red wires, it’s why I opened up the terminal block on the unit.

Installing a Dinoplex
I’m putting a new Dinoplex in my car. It had an MDS 5 in it before. I’ve got all the wires to the coil and distributor correctly hooked up. I took the wiring distributor on the Dinoplex off and double checked. The MDS 5 had a wire run from the ignition switch. I hooked this to the power in on the un...

Re: Source for correct braided rubber hose for brake reservoir.
Hopefully someone will respond! Superformance has the right type but it’s red. I used fabric paint on black braided. Not sure how long that will last.
Another question, is the original white or yellow. Mine where yellow!

Re: 2.0 cam clearance buckets
Thanks Stephan didn’t realize the cam wear would be greater. So many engines I’ve owned had the shim on top arrangement.
I guess you saved me another project .
Anybody have a stack of 8mm shims they’d like to trade for my 25’s?

2.0 cam clearance buckets
Hi all,
My engine (chassis 665) has the 8mm shim under bucket adjustment.
Is it possible to “just” change these for the 25mm style buckets.

Re: Coupe 2000 brakes
The brake system on the 2.0 cars is very good for its time. 4 wheel ventilated discs in that era was almost unheard of. Add to that the light weight of the Spider it was a good system. Not quite as good for the heavier Coupe. As stated earlier the vacuum is pulled from the inlet manifold thru a one ...
