Just a guess, but it makes sense if you translate from Italian:

SS= Left upper
IS = Left Lower
SD= Right Upper
ID= right Lower

S=sinistra/left
D=destra/right
I=inferiore/lower
S=superiore/upper

Michael: There is a pocket in the jack bag for the tool roll. At least on a 2400 Spider everything goes into the left side of the trunk.
