Re: Three lights at bottom of RPM gauge of a 67 Spider
According to the user manual, I have only an Italian one, it’s:
Left: battery charging
middle: choke/cold start device
Right: handbrake.
The handbrake is blinking when engaged.
Colors from left to right:
Red, Yellow, Red

Re: Dino Spyder 2400 Headlight Adjuster Nuts Source
I had the same issue, tried modern cage nuts that are too big and thought about using rivet nuts - for both options the holes had to be widened. In the end I luckily found enough of the old ones that I the re-used. If you don’t have them, I would go for rivet nuts.

Re: 2400 Coupe Engine Mounts
You can ask Peter he has spare engine mounts (the metal things) ps@twinpeak.info
To replace them with engine in, you need to hang up the engine. Then it’s not so difficult, it’s a bit tight to reach everything behind the headers.

Re: Ignition switch Issues
Sometimes you can find the electrical insert with terminal 16 to replace a worn one. You also can take it out and clean the contacts. To prevent too much wear a Relais between the ignition lock and the starter can definitely be useful.

Re: Fiat Dino chassis number
Hi all, in this document in German language is mentioned the Dinoplex coming into production from „Organisationsnummer“ 0002466 / 000833 on - not from Fahrgestellnummer on - meaning „Ricambi number“ and not „chassis number“. Another proof showing Fanalones research leading to the right conclusions. ...

Re: FUEL FILTER/REGULATOR LATE 2400 COUPE
To my knowledge: 2400 Coupes do not have a pressure regulator. 2000 Engines have. So your Setup in the engine bay seems to be quite original. As the 2400 have a fuel return line a regulator is not as much needed as in the 2000 without a return line - although many 2400 owners have fitted a Filter Ki...

Re: Fuel choke
As you use the original Dinoplex, at least it looks like, make sure you use the right coil for this unit. On the page Dinoplex.org you find a lot of information including the right coils and their replacement options.

Re: Fuel choke
I think Tobi means the cap where you fill in fuel. If you have installed a fuel filter, it should be easy to check if there is dirt in it. Recommendation is to build in a cheap online, transparent filter, then you can see if dirt is in the tank. You can also check the fuel filters in the carbs, wher...
